  It takes a lot to be a successful hairstylist — the training, the apprenticeships, the natural talent, and the years of experience it takes to master the craft.  At HASQ  there are also two additional important and deeply individualistic qualities -  personality and empathy. 

Going to the hair salon is an intimate practice. You set aside a time out of your usual hustle and bustle to visit us. The time set aside is special because you are choosing to create time and space to come in and be wholly refreshed, both in appearance and in spirit. 

You’ve been waiting for this appointment. You still remember what it felt like the last time you had an appointment; how your new haircut, color, or style lifted your chin and put a smile on your face. But time has passed, and the cut has grown out, the color has faded, and it’s time to feel refreshed and look your best, again. 

So, the appointment is made, and the day arrives. You show up to see the familiar face of your stylist. We know you— not just your hair, but your story. We’ve watched you change over the years; as you transitioned jobs, started new relationships, got promoted, or experienced personal losses. We share your happiness and sadness. 

When you sit in your HASQ stylist’s chair you give us your trust, and we make magic happen. Even if it is just for an hour, you let go and leave it all up to the person with the shears. You often give us updates on your life, and we reciprocate in kind. We ask questions about the story you told during your last appointment, and you get to share the new updates. We hope it’s  like catching up with an old friend who is also able to revitalize your whole appearance.

There is much to be gained by visiting a locally owned and operated salon. We have the time and the desire to spend quality time with each of you. We get to know each other and are able to spend the time necessary to fulfill your salon needs on every visit. We value your business and your trust.
